Agreed – Theory R is closer to describing reality than Theory T.
But I don’t think the New Progressives would characterize themselves as following T.
You do need to measure, and you do need accountability, even when following R.
It’s not good enough JUST to say leave the teachers alone.
Not least because of points that Brady concedes – that the current school model (30 kids – all unique – trying to be taught by one teacher) is inadequate and we need to innovate.
Too many of those that oppose the New Progressives are offering no real alternative, acting only as No men.
